Counting down.

This blog is an attempt to share our travels with all those we are leaving behind. I am not very computer savvy, so we will see how it goes (if at all). Alice is my stepmom. Since this is going to be read by her husband, children, grandchildren, and all our families and friends,  I am going to refer to her by her name just to keep things easier. 

Alice is already in Australia, so I have heard. She has an additioanl week to roam the Outback. We will be meeting her in Sydney on November 5th. 

Right now, Bruce and I are starting to pack. With our lists, we are trying to find ways of maximizing our very limited space. Although we can take 2 bags with us on our international flights, our interior puddle-jumping flights only allow one bag per person. This has been a very interesting learning experience for both of us; neither of us are good at planning ahead. The trip is for 18 days and temperatures ranging from the low 50's to the mid 80's.
